Packaged Part Testing

Corewafer has several solutions for supporting packaged part test. Packaged part testing can be accomplished using the standard test executives and libraries driving instruments connected to parts in a thermal chamber or the company produces a dedicated line of standalone testers called the ThetaDelta product line.

ThetaDelta™ Product Line

The ThetaDelta product line consists of a Saturn Tower, Mercury System and desktop version for packaged part test. Each system is based on QUBE™ technology, which is an independent tester consisting of master controller stimulus, thermal and measurement electronics. The Mercury system holds up to two QUBE™s and the Saturn tester holds up to 32 QUBE™s. A 32 QUBE™ Saturn system can test up to 384 devices. One host computer for instructions, data input and output can remotely control All QUBE’s™.

QUBE™ Features:

Electrical

• Supports Digital, RF, Pulsed DC and DC Stimulus
• Independent DUT DC supplies available with either SMU’s or Regulators
• Low Current, High Current, Kelvin and High Voltage Options Available
• Multifunction SMU with built in arbitrary waveform generators for advanced sub msec NBTI
• Ultra Short distance between SMU’s and DUTs for high speed pulsed measurements

Thermal System

• Independent Direct Contact Gimbal (opt) Mount Thermal System with -65º C to 350º C Range
• Multiple Thermal Measurement Sensors available for +/- 0.5 ºC at different DUT locations
• 500 Watt Per QUBE™ Thermal Capacity maintains accuracy to 100 watts per square inch

Mechanical

• Capacity 12 DUT’s Per QUBE™ in purged inert atmosphere
• DUT Cavity- External Expands to adjust for changing device sizes and shapes
